I have used some gluten-free oatmeal in this balanced breakfast, not only is oats a gluten-free whole grain but also a great source of important vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants.


Oatmeal is Low Gi, slow releasing therefore lowering blood sugar levels, along in providing the body with a good amount of fibre.


Oats also contain some powerful antioxidants, some of them are known to help lower blood pressure, reducing bad cholesterol, thanks to the fibre we also increase a good amount of good bacteria in the digestive tract.

1 Ripe banana

1 Cup of organic oatmeal

1 Tablespoon of smooth nut butter (almond)

1/2 Teaspoon cinnamon

1 Serving of Nuzest Kids Good Stuff


1 Tablespoon Coconut yoghurt

1/4 Banana chopped

1 Serving Nuzest Kids Good Stuff

1 Teaspoon of smooth nut butter



Start by setting your pan aside, make sure you rub the pan with coconut oil, ideally also make sure it is a non-stick pan.

Then allow your pancake mix to come together by mixing the nut butter and banana in until smooth, once this is super smooth, you can add in your cinnamon, nuzest kids good stuff as well as your oatmeal, mix untill a sticky dough like consistency.

Allow the pan to heat up, then start shaping your large spoon size pancakes into the pan, this mix makes about 6 mini pancakes. You can watch my IGTV on instagram

Once or whilst pancakes are in the pan, you can mix your spread ingredients together until smooth, this is for a spread as the in between layers..

I have used the spread in between every second layer, then the other layers you can use some plain nut butter or even just spread a little yacon syrup, topping it with some fresh banana slices.
