FUDGY VEGAN BANANA CHOCOLATE BROWNIES

A bit of a fudge caramel texture all vegan. These fudgy chewy brownies are made mostly from ripe banana’s, dark rich cacao powder, Nuzest Kids Good stuff chocolate powder, with natural coconut flour, coconut oil along with some delicious Medjool dates.

All totally gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free and trans fat free.





Adding banana to this mix not only provides us with nutrients from the vitamins and minerals, however banana is also high in fiber and a great substitute to use when it comes to baking or in smoothies. For the use in frozen smoothies and baking we want to ensure the banana is 100% fully ripe and spotty.

Banana has around 105 cal, consisting almost exclusively of water + carbs. Bananas hold little protein (hence why I added some chocolate protein from Nuzest to these brownies, bananas are also low in fat.



The carbs in green, unripe bananas consist mostly of starch and resistant starch, so some people struggle digesting green banana’s, most people find riper bananas easier to digest. The starches from the green banana turns into glucose as it becomes riper.

INGREDIENTS:

3 Large Ripe banana

1 Large egg or flaxseed egg

1 Teaspoon of vanilla extract

1 Teaspoon of gluten free baking powder

1/2 Cup of coconut flour

1/3 Cup of dark cacao powder

2 Servings of Nuzest Kids Good Stuff Chocolate

1 Serving of Nuzest Clean Lean Protein Chocolate

3 Large Medjool dates

1/3 Cup of desiccated coconut

2 Tablespoons of coconut oil

1 Tablespoon of flaxseed meal

1 Tablespoon of almond nut butter

1 Steamed beetroot

INSTRUCTIONS

.

Heat the oven to 180C, using 8inch baking tray. Pour the mixture into your non stick baking tray. Bake for 30min.
