INCA BERRY SMOOTHIE
A beautiful antioxidant berry smoothie. Have you heard of the Incan berry? Or Golden Berry?
These beautiful berries, are known as the 'Goji Berries of South America'. The antioxidants and dietary fiber levels of Incan golden berries are slightly higher than those of goji berries and most of the other dried fruits.
Incan Golden berries, being protein-rich, are also packed with beta-carotene (pro-Vitamin A), anti-inflammatory bioflavonoids (Vitamin P), various B vitamins (including B12 which is rare for plants), potassium, phosphorus, soluble fibre and insoluble fibre. Great as healthy snack, no added sugar! Diabetic-friendly.

I also love using these berries especially for breakfast or even a post workout recovery, the extract from the husk of golden berries are known to reduced inflammation, there is a huge percentage of todays population with inflammatory diseases. 1 Frozen banana
1 Fresh young coconut including the use of the flesh.
2 Tablespoons of pre-soaked Inca berries (soak them in your coconut water night before)
2 Tablespoons of raw almond butter or Hemp seeds
1 Teaspoon ground flaxseed
2 Teaspoons of Psyllium husk
1 Teaspoon Vanilla plant protein from @nuzest_singapore
1/3 Teaspoon Vanilla extract
Process all ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth, about 60 seconds. Start on low and slowly work your way to high for the smoothest result.
Serve cold. Enjoy immediately or store in the refrigerator up to 24 hours in a sealed container.
