This Cranberry pecan Wild Rice Porridge ~ is a great swap out to your usual oatmeal. This cozy hot cereal is full of antioxidants, protein, and fiber. It’s naturally gluten free and ready in minutes!




With 101 calories, 3.5 ounces (100 grams) of cooked wild rice provides slightly fewer calories than the same serving of brown or white rice, which offer 112 and 130 calories, respectively


Wild rice contains more protein than other types of rice but the same amount of fiber as brown rice.



SPICED CRANBERRY PECAN WILD RICE PORRIDGE

INGREDIENTS:


1 Cup of Wild Rice (cooked)

1/2 Cup of Macadamia nut milk

1 Cup of coconut cream

2 Tablespoons of monk fruit powder

1/3 Cup of roasted cranberries

1/3 Cup of pecan nuts

2 Servings of Nuzest Clean Lean Vanilla Protein

1 Tablespoon of almond butter

1 Teaspoon of vanilla extract

1/4 Teaspoon of cinnamon

1/4 Teaspoon of nutmeg


INSTRUCTIONS:


Pre-boil wild rice until cooked, strain. Use your food processor, pop all the ingredients into the food processor as well as the cooked wild rice.


blend until a porridge consistency. Enjoy warm or cold by keeping it overnight in the fridge for the next morning.
