TURMERIC CINNAMON PUMKIN SEED CRACKERS


ITS NOT JUST A SPICE, BUT A HIGHLY KNOWN SUPERFOOD

INGREDIENTS

• 2 Cups of ground flaxseed

• 1 Cup of water to start with a rough amount of 3/4 to add when needed

• 1 Cup pre-soaked pumpkin seeds (8 hours)

• 1/2 Cup pre-soaked sunflower seeds (8 hours)

• 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric @naturesuperfoods

• 1/4 Teaspoon Ground Cumin

• 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon @naturesuperfoods

• 1 Teaspoon Yacon syrup @naturesuperfood

INSTRUCTIONS


Allow to pre-heat the oven at 180 degrees, or use your dehydrator, I always have my large mixing bowl, use a large bowl that allows all the ingredients to mix well. This recipe the ingredients, will create a dough consistency due to the flaxseed meal. Then once mixed, Spread evenly onto a parchment paper lined tray or even a silicone lined baking sheet .

Then flatten your mix out, not too thick, then gently cut the dough mix into small squares this is prior to baking, this will make it easier to break apart once baked or dehydrated. ____________________________________________

Bake for 30-40 minutes until toasted, make sure you don’t burn the mix, flaxseeds are heat sensitive and we therefore want to ensure they are rather baked at lowest form of temperature for longer or dehydrated. ** Or Option of hydrating will take 11 hours under 45 Degrees.
